I have had Yakima racks for a long time and as I switch around with cars, I make adjustments with the roof racks. Being an avid mountain biker, that way I do not have to worry about backing into anything and damaging my bike. These were delivered quick and comes with all necessary hardware and instructions along with measurement requirements to ensure installation is safe. Yakima Q-111 Clip for Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack System Review
Product does as described. I purchase the Q-Rack System earlier this year, but found out when making this purchase that Yakima has discontinued the Q-Rack System which is a disappointment. I had some difficulty find these clips available. I had the Q-Rack System on my Hyundai Sonata and wanted to transfer to our Nissan Rouge. My concern going forward now that I found out the Q-Rack System has been discontinued is that I won’t be able to by clips for any new vehicle purchased, which means I will have to spend hundreds of dollars for some other system. Unhappy! -Read Reviews-

I tried every tip I found on the Yakima site and DIY pages. …I really want it to work. Loved the concept of Q towers with interchangeable clips as it worked great on my last car. ..The clips pulls out far too easily with little lateral tug! I measured multiple times to get the distance from windshield, between the towers, and check the vertical orientation as instructed to no avail. I even added tacky putty but the clips just keep pulling off the sides and the towers become unstable. I guess I’ll have to sell all my Yakima Q tower stuff and buy the dedicated racks for my new car
