Teaching Peace

When you purchase a CD, do you ever expect that EVERY SINGLE SONG will be great? Well, if you buy this one, trust me, you will agree that EVERY cut is GREAT. I am a retired elementary school counselor. I built almost all of my classroom guidance lessons around these songs. People have told me that "my kids" were still singing "Teaching Peace" (along with the ASL signs) at lunch together in high school. "I Think You’re Wonderful" is the greatest intro to giving compliments. Learn and teach the ASL signs for "I Think You’re Wonderful. " It is pure magic. "Use a Word" provided the setting for solving problems. I could go on for days. This is the best CD that has ever been made for elementary age kids. Check it out!

Teaching Peace Review

My mother ordered this album for my children, and although its a bit outdated now my girls(ages 2 and 4) absolutely love it. Much better in my opinion than listening to "old macdonald" or "itsy bitsy spider" over and over (not that they don’t enjoy adult music too, but they love the simplicity of kids tunes). The music is catchy and the lyrics definately send a great message. They have had a very positive effect on my older child. Highly recommend! -Read Reviews-

I bought this collection as a cassette tape 30 years ago for my children. While some songs have been updated (I miss Baby Beluga!) I haven’t found a better collection! So I bought a CD! My 3 year old granddaughter loves to sing along, especially Hello! Hello! Olà! Olà! Jamba! Jamba! etc!
