This is kind of a sillly book but it made me and my almost 4 yo laugh. The kid throws stuff on the tree. Each item he throws is to unstuck the previous one but all get stuck. He manages to throw a whale, a firefighter and a mailman and a full house, lol. I found it funny but my husband found it silly. So depends on your sense of humor maybe? My son and myself liked it though! Check it out!

Stuck Paperback – April 1, 2012 by Oliver Jeffers (Author) Review
My board book arrived damaged. Aside from that, the book is an abridged version of the original which doesn’t really make sense. Overall, I don’t love this story and I agree with another reviewer that it’s wordy. It seems to go on forever and doesn’t really resolve. Cute enough story to read in the library, but no need to own this one. -Read Reviews-
A story about a boy who loses a cherished possession and all his misguided attempts to get it out of the tree where it’s stuck. Humorous, funny. Children will laugh at all the things the boy does WRONG (or in ways he uses tools in ways not intended). And like all Jeffers, a little bittersweet takeaway. Nothing is sugary for Jeffers. While I read this book for our children (ages 5 and 3), I bought a second copy to give to a friend who was having a particularly hard problem with a particularly stubborn person. And as we noted, the boy DOES get his kite back – but at a great cost to all those around him.
