I have been using a squeegee on my concrete garage floor. It had a hard rubber squeegee blade that left puddles where the floor was not even. Also, the pole attachment had just one connector which meant it would bend with every use. I don’t know what to call what I am referring to as a connector. It is the part between the squeegee blade and the part that slides onto the pole. This was a real nuisance with the constant bending. This Rubbermaid has a double layer of attachment connectors that resist bending. The squeegee blade is a foam rubber type which allows it to conform to the sections of the floor that are uneven. With this squeegee I can push out all the water completely with much less time and effort and the result is a far better job of pushing out the water. I was able to reuse the wooden handle from the squeegee being replaced. It is not a screw on type so it was easy to just insert a screw to hold it in place. Actually, there are several screw holes that can be used. This is an excellent squeegee and I recommend it highly. Check it out!

I have a composite garage floor that’s not perfectly smooth because we added grit to it to prevent slipping. I was a bit worried that the squeegee wouldn’t pick up all the water on the surface, but it does. This foam type squeegee conforms well to a smooth epoxied or concrete floor; good for pushing water. One star off because the collar does not thread, instead relying on an inadequate band tightened by a screw. It will inevitably come loose. That shortcoming is easily remedied by locking a pole in place with screws using holes available around the collar; the work of 5 minutes.
