In the first few months of reading this book, I thought it was one of Leslie Patricelli’s rare misses. But today I heard my two year old reading it out loud and couldn’t stop laughing. It is just delightful to hear him whisper "tissues are quiet" before yelling "sneezes are LOUD!"This book will be so much more fun for you once your child is old enough to read it to you, so consider saving it until your child is a little older and opt for books like "Faster, Faster" or "Higher Higher" for your littler ones. Check it out!

Quiet Loud (Leslie Patricelli board books) Board book – September 15, 2003 by Leslie Patricelli (Author, Illustrator) Review
Not my favorite Patricelli book, bought my daughter likes it which is what counts. I thought she could have done a better job at finding quiet things and loud things that are easy for young ones to recognize. Pretty sure my daughter doesn’t know what "thinking" means yet and it is difficult to demonstrate. Regardless, I get really LOUD on the loud pages and quiet on the quiet pages, which she loves. She is getting the idea on the difference between quiet and loud though. -Read Reviews-
Granddaughter’s favorite book! She wants to hear it over and over again. Loves shhh. .with "quiet" and yell "loud". So much fun to read to her.
