What a wonderful piece of machinery. This is the upgrade to the older DEH-X6700BT and works just as good. The look is nice and not to detracting while driving. The Blue Tooth feature is great and connects as soon as I get in the car. It powers my new Polk DB571 speakers and sounds amazing. There is so much power packed in this head unit and would buy it again if I had to. I can call people with it also use Pandora which is built in the system to work off your phone. If the screen is to bright, just dim it down or not bright enough, bring it up. If there is sun in the way of the screen you can still see it without a problem. All I can say is this is one great unit! Here is my video of me putting it in my car: Check it out!

Pioneer DEH-X6800BT CD Receiver, MIXTRAX/Bluetooth/SIRI Eyes Free/USB Playback/Android Music Support/Pandora (Discontinued by Manufacturer) Review

This was purchased for my 2005 Malbu Max to replace the factory stereo. The factory stereo didn’t have an AUX in and the CD player stopped working. This device was easy to install and sounds great on the factory speakers. When I got it I accidentally thought it came with an SD slot, but it didn’t. I would have gladly traded the cd player for SD. The menu system is complicated for me and I’m an IT Specialist. I think this has to do with this being a different field. My phone’s bluetooth is temperamental so after a while I just stopped using it. The USB support is just perfect. It reads both NTFS and Fat32. I haven’t tested EXT3/4 as of yet. This unit is solid once installed and compared to my factory default stereo, this is a vast improvement. I’m giving it 5/5 since I confused this one with on that had SD which makes it my fault. Make sure to read the stats. Pros:Solid UnitGreat SoundUSB slot is perfectSuports MP3, WAV, and M4ACons:Doesn’t support FLAC -Read Reviews-

Pioneer DEH-X6800BT In-Dash Receiver

CEA-2006 compliant MOSFET amplifier

Theft-deterrent, detachable face plate

Built-in Bluetooth technology for hands-free talking and audio streaming

Power Output: Peak: 50 watts x 4 channels / RMS: 14 watts x 4 channels

This is a quality after market stereo replacement with lots of options that will not disappoint. It is quality at an affordable price. I used this to replace an older JVC model that wasn’t Bluetooth capable. My phone and other devices connect to this seamlessly. It was a breeze to install and had excellent instructions to assist the novice. I am pleasantly surprised by the amount of customization that this stereo offers from colors on the display to how to handle incoming calls. By the way this is a great way to introduce hands free calling to an otherwise older vehicle, it comes with a mic that works just as good as the factory install in my newer Toyota Camry. Bottom line, I would purchase this again without question and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for upgrading an old system to a modern one capable of bluetooth and hands free calling.
