Brussel's DT3066AZ Satsuki Azalea Outdoor Bonsai Tree

I write this review just try to be fair with the seller since I saw so many negative reviews. I ordered this bonsai for Mother Day. My friend wasn’t home on time to get the package so it was outside unopened for 5 days. When my friend got home and opened it, it still alive healthy and full of flowers and bulbs. I got two bonsai from this company so far and all of them are beauty as advertised. Thank you to this I got good reputation for my friend loved my gifts. I put a photo here so you can see how it was when my friend got it! Remember, it stayed inside the package for 5 days. Check it out!

With small, round leaves and large, pink flowers blooming from May to June, this broadleaf flowering bonsai is packed with stems for a gorgeous late spring show. Though the Satsuki Azalea has just one flower per stem, the shrub has so many stems that during the flowering season they are a solid mass of color. Grown in Japan for centuries, the Satsuki Azalea’s graceful trunk movement adds distinct shape to the patio, deck or garden. This particular bonsai is 5 years old and stands 8 inches tall. Although evergreens can be displayed indoors for short periods of time, they need to experience seasonal changes and should be kept outside year round. Brussels grows specimens only under carefully controlled conditions, meticulously training each tree with wire and pruning over a period of years. If upon the tree’s arrival some leaves have dropped or turned slightly brown that does not mean the bonsai is unhealthy. Defoliation is the natural result of being in the low-light environment of a shipping box. When you receive your tree, place the box in a shaded area to unpack. Inspect tree for damage to branches or leaves. Water soil if dry, and place the tree in shade for at least one week before moving to a sunny location. What is a Bonsai? Literally, the Japanese word “bonsai” means “tray tree” or “plant grown in a pot.” The term refers to the artistic techniques used to capture the natural beauty of trees, rather than a specific variety of tree. A full-grown tree and a bonsai can be grown from the same seed–the bonsai has simply been dwarfed and shaped through years of training. For more information on care and training visit Brussel’s Bonsai on the Web.

Brussel’s DT3066AZ Satsuki Azalea Outdoor Bonsai Tree Review

Just arrived. So far I am impressed. This purchase was accidental, but with shipping being 40% of how much this cost me I didn’t see it worth sending back. It arrived in great condition. I did think I was getting a five year old tree like the description states, but this one is only three. Has great bids that look like they will bloom soon. Soil came moist and intact. Foliage looks great. Came in a cream planter instead of the blue. But it is still cute. Update:Soil is sooooo difficult to water due to it being so compact. Key is to mist the soil so the water will seep in when you pour or run under a slow faucet. Main issue has been figuring out when it needs watered. However I think I have it figured out, with little loss of leaves!!! (Normally I am a Black thumb). Love the flowers! They don’t last long but they bloom at different times. Attempting deadheading now, removing old petals to see if new ones grow. -Read Reviews-

Satsuki azalea bonsai; deciduous, outdoor tree

Grown as bonsai in Japan for centuries

Graceful trunk movement

Pink, white, or red blooms in spring

5 years old, 8 inches tall

Horrible! Twig looking plant in an ugly little round blue pot! This was a gift for my friend and I specifically wanted the green rectangle pot. It looks like a sad gardenia! Should have just bought one local and shipped it myself! No response from the seller! Don’t waste your money!
