Buy “Anker 6' Lightning Cable for iPhone/iPad/iPod Devices – White Cell Phones & Accessories” Online
Piece of junk. I am not hard on my stuff and it just fell apart. Lightning connection end literally came out of cord. Only had for a couple weeks. Update: Customer service just emailed me and is sending me a replacement. These days you can’t beat good customer service. I didn’t email them they just saw this review. I have adjusted to three stars for this reason in hope the new one will live up to previous reviews and more stars from me. Update: It has now been a while since i received the replacement cord. So far so good. I would buy this product again. I am confident that if didn’t work like the first time customer service would remedy that. Having said that the first cord was prob just a rare blemish on this company. Thanks again to the seller I appreciate the good customer service and will think of you in the future. Check it out!

Anker 6′ Lightning Cable for iPhone/iPad/iPod Devices – White Review
Exactly what I was hoping for. Several points make it a better cord:1) Twice the length and at half the price of replacement Apple cord. 2) Anker cord is much more durable than Apple cord. Anker cord sheath is plastic with 4 mm diameter, whereas Apple cord sheath is rubber with 3 mm diameter. 3) This 6 ft. Anker cord charges equally as fast as original 3 ft. Apple cord. 4) WiFi reception with phone in use while charging remains the same. I read one review suggesting that longer than standard cords will reduce WiFi reception. But, I can refute that claim, as I have found that not to be true with this 6 ft. charging cable. As a quantifiable observation, the WiFi reception in my upstairs bedroom is suboptimal (2/3 optimal) and is exactly the same while charging with the 6 ft. Anker cord as with the 3 ft. Apple cord. 4) The Lightning type metal plug is very firmly encased in a molded plastic cord cap. There is no slop/looseness with the plug after 3 weeks of daily use and I don’t see this as becoming a problem. I think this cord will survive the life of my iPhone. 5) My protective phone case accommodates the slightly larger size of the Anker cable’s Lightning cord cap. Measure your case’s charging port opening to see if this cord will plug in through your case. Your original Apple cord cap is 8 mm wide X 5 mm thick (5/16" X 3/16"). The Anker cord cap is 9. 5 mm wide X 6 mm thick (3/8" X 1/4"). If it were a close call, you could file the case’s port a hair larger if you have to. But, filing would not work with a Lifeproof case and I can’t speak to whether a Lifeproof case will accommodate this slightly larger cord cap, so measure carefully. 6) I’ve had absolutely no pop-up messages about "This cable is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone. " So, apparently, the cable is truly certified. Additional notes:a) This cord does not come with a new 120V-plug to USB-port charging cube. b) I wanted a longer and more durable cable and I chose the Anker brand because I found generally quite positive reviews of their products. Anker does not currently sell a 10 ft. charging cord that I could find. I would definitely buy this product again. I might also consider a 10 ft. cord of another brand as I experienced no reception problems with a longer cable as earlier discussed. c) I am an average consumer. I am not testing for a free product nor am I writing a review for any incentive. I read a lot of reviews first before paying the $10 because I like to shop and compare. I’m happy with this purchase. The Anker Advantage: Join the 10 million+ powered by Amazon’s #1 charging brand.
Apple MFi certified: complete charge and sync compatibility with iPhone 6S Plus/6 Plus/5S/5C/5, iPad Pro/air/air 2, iPad mini/mini 2/mini 3/mini 4, iPad (4th generation), iPod nano (7th generation)
Extra short, extra durable: 1ft/ 0.3M of flexible cord lets you connect at close proximity without getting tangled. 4000+ bend lifespan several times longer than standard cables.
. 5 star should maybe get deducted for the thicker-than-Apple plastic surround on the Lightning end of this cable. HOWEVER this will fit into the Rhino bumper case on my iPhone 5s, that the Amazon Basics wouldn’t fit. So let’s backtrack a little. Here’s the basic problem:Official Apple-made cables are flimsy. Here’s the Anker solution:A more robust plastic housing on each end of the cable. A more robust stress-release extender out of the plastic housing on each end. Bonus points:Cheaper than Apple. Comparable to Amazon basics, which is equally tough but won’t fit some phone and iPad cases. This 6ft version has a thicker cable to reduce the voltage drop (due to electrical resistance, which is worse on thin cables) over the longer 6ft length. This is Apple MFi certified to meet Apple specifications. Since all Lightning cables need a unique processor chip to hook up properly, this certification IS important. It is totally Apple approved, in terms of design specs. Anker is well-regarded by reviewers in terms of the other important qualification – quality control. $8-10 is the price range you should expect to pay for the 6ft Anker.
