100 Singalong Songs For Kids

Our mini van has a CD player and we don’t have any children’s CD to play so I bought this for my daughter’s first birthday. I’ve read comments why there are Christian Songs on the list. I can answer that. While at church nursery, they played a DVD version of this CD. There they advertise their other available album covers. That is where I realized that the CD is a mixture of songs from different covers. It is actually divided into 4 parts: *The Sunday School Songs (He’s got the Whole World) *Silly Songs (BINGO, Rocka my Soul, S-M-I-L-E, London Bridge, Alphabet Song) *Toddler Songs (The Ants Go Marching, Baby Bumblebee, *Preschool Songs (Down by the Station, Lazy Mary, My Bonnie, Ring Around the Rousy)Overall, my daughter is very happy listening to her music every time she rides in our mini van. Check it out!

100 Singalong Songs For Kids Review

I am not really a fan of kids music where kids are singing (generally it sounds bad or annoying to me) but this has a lot of great classics that I don’t see on other CDs, and it doesn’t annoy me like most CDs with kid groups singing (I’m not a scrooge, I swear, I am just picky and want my child to hear the good stuff!). If you want some really excellent children’s music, do yourself a favor and check out The Okee Dokee Brothers. You can watch their adventure DVDs on Netflix right now, and their CDs come with the DVDs. Solid and amazing kids music. -Read Reviews-

Love that there are so many songs that are recognizable but it’s a little bit more religious than I thought. For instance there are songs that are clearly biblical on the track (whole world in his hands, who swallowed Jonah, Joseph and the battle of Jericho, etc) but then there are songs you think will be non religious like (if your happy and you know it) and all of a sudden the lyrics are "if your happy and you know it shout Amen" I wasn’t a fan of that. I think this CD needs to be re branded as 100 Sing Along Biblical Songs for Kids. That being said there are some classics. (Wheels on the bus, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Do your ears hang low, all around the Mulberry Bush, Alphabet song, etc) and the price is great!
